Atlas Technologies Inc. made a donation of $1,000 recently to the nonprofit Junior Girls Day Out, which provides personal career development and education to girls ages 7-12 through programs such as shadowing, mentoring and community service.

The money will be used to fund upcoming events in the Charleston area.

“We believe through positive outlets such as these that young girls will be inspired and supported to fulfill great achievements in their lives and be deterred from negative paths of drugs, violence and other detrimental vices,” said Kathy Jackson, director of Junior Girls Day Out.
